TOPEKA (KSNT) – A special soccer clinic was held in Topeka on Saturday afternoon. The Global Foundation for Peace held an event for kids ages 8-15 to fine-tune their soccer skills at Chase Middle School.
Two former MLS players were on-hand to teach the players, Diego Gutierrez and Daouda Kante. Both played professional soccer for several years.
The purpose of the event was to spread a message of peace through soccer to break down the cultural, religious, and ethnic barriers and focus on the important issues of bringing everyone together.
