WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Kansas man has been sentenced to two years in prison for causing a car crash that killed a 6-year-old girl.
Twenty-year-old Raudel Sandoval Jr. was sentenced Thursday. He pleaded guilty in August to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the June 2012 crash that killed Feodora Two-Hatchett. She was riding in the back seat of her mother’s car when Sandoval’s car hit the vehicle.
He was driving 70 mph in a 35-mph zone. Sandoval told police he was speeding to dry his vehicle after leaving a car wash.
