Prosecutors to seek death penalty for trooper killer suspect

(NBC News) (NBC News) A 48-day manhunt for one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives came to an end Thursday evening at an abandoned Pennsylvania airport.

U.S. marshals took accused cop killer Eric Frein into custody without incident.

After the arrest officers honored their fallen colleague Corporal Bryon Dickson, the Pennsylvania State Trooper Frein is accused of murdering, by using Dickson’s handcuffs and patrol car to transport Frein to jail.

Prosecutors have announced the plan to seek the death penalty.
