RCPD: Man shot in face arrested for robbery

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Riley County Police Department says that a Manhattan man who received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the face on November 7th during an aggravated robbery has been arrested.

On Wednesday RCPD reports that upon further investigation, 19-year old Christopher Hudgins was shot as he and two other suspects were committing a robbery during  ahome invasion in the 2300 block of Cheryl Terrace.

Hudgins has been arrested for attempted aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and contributing to a child’s misconduct. Hudgins remains confined on a $100.000 bond.

Also arrested for attempted aggravated robbery were Mason Davis, 17, of Manhattan, and 16-year old Tyrel Daniels of Manhattan. Davis and Daniels were transported to the juvenile detention facility in Junction City and remain confined.

RCPD says investigation continues, and further information will be released.
