JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – The Junction City Police Department say they have arrested a Fort Riley soldier suspected of distributing child pornography.
After a month long investigation, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Junction City Police Department Detectives assigned to the Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Patrol Division and the Drug Operations Group, executed a search warrant at 123 E. 12th St. in Junction City in reference to the distribution of child pornography.
Upon executing the warrant, further evidence to support the charges was located and collected. The suspect was identified as 40-year old James G. Henning. Henning was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child, rape, and aggravated sodomy.
Henning was confined at the Geary County Detention Center and upon first appearance in the Geary County District Court on Wednesday, his bond was set at $5,000,000.
