Officials ID victims in NJ carbon monoxide poisoning

PASSAIC, N.J. (AP) — Officials have identified two people who died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a recording studio in Passaic.

Thirty-nine-year-old Noel Korman and 29-year-old Alice Park, both of Clifton, were found Saturday afternoon on the second floor of the Streets Rehearsal Studio, located in a converted factory building.

A dozen other people were sickened and taken to local hospitals.

The cause of the poisoning is under investigation.

The studio’s website says it opened in 1994, offers 300-400 square foot studios that offer “the serious musician a secure sanctuary in which to hone their craft.”
