Kansas Most Wanted person caught

HOLTON (KSNT) – Jackson County’s Most Wanted person, Roy Hector Waquahboshkuk Jr. has been captured by Jackson County Deputies early Monday morning in Holton.

The Sheriff’s Office received numerous tips concerning the whereabouts of Waquahboshkuk Jr. over the last several months. Waquahboshkuk Jr. has been on the run since early August following an alleged attempted theft of anhydrous in Atchison County.  Soon after, Jackson County Authorities served a search warrant on a Holton residence where Waquahboshkuk was believed to have been living.  Items believed to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence. Five additional individuals believed to be associated with Waquahboshkuk Jr. have been previously arrested on drug related charges.

Jackson County Authorities captured Waquahboshkuk Jr. minutes after he arrived in Holton Monday morning.

Waquahboshkuk was wanted on a Jackson County Warrant for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of certain precursors with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bond was set in the matter at $40,000.00.  Waquahboshkuk Jr. is also being held on a Jackson County Warrant for failure to appear with bond being denied in that matter.  Waquahboshkuk also has outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions.
