Jayhawk women fall to Oklahoma at home

The Kansas Jayhawks women's basketball team suffers its second-straight loss to open the Big 12 Conference schedule.

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – Oklahoma outscored Kansas by 10 points in the second half to earn a victory over the Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday night. Natalie Knight led Kansas with 15 points but the Jayhawks never held an advantage since the second minute of the game.

KU’s leading scorer Chelsea Gardner was held to just 7 points as the Jayhawks dropped their second-straight game to open the conference schedule. Gardner averages 16 points per game.

Kansas travels to Kansas State on Sunday afternoon. Both teams are searching for their first Big 12 victory.
