On Monday KSNT News learned Jayden Beddo could be moved out of state for treatment. According to family, her condition is improving but she still has a long road to recovery.

Jayden’s uncle, George Hearne says she will be at the Burn Center at the University of Kansas Hospital for a few more weeks. Doctors are contemplating sending her to Ohio for surgery.

Police have still not found the man who set her hair on fire last Wednesday while she and her brother were playing in their backyard leaving Jayden with burns to her scalp and hands.

Hearne says Jayden is loving all the support and care from everyone.

“Please keep her in your prayers, she still has a very long recovery process to go.”
