JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – A 120 year old private school in Junction City that was in danger of closing will be open next year.
It’s a story we first told you about in mid-December. Saint Xavier Catholic School has raised more than $70,000 through the community’s efforts. One of their largest fundraisers took place just before Christmas. The school raised more than $9,500 through events with the alumni game including a chili feed and silent auction.
Principal Russell Swisher says this past week students and staff learned that all grades: pre-k through 12 will be open next year.
