POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY (KSNT) – The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office says they responded to a suspicious situation at St. George Elementary School Wednesday.

Between 2:50 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., authorities say two 12 year old students were taking items to the recycling trailer located on the north side of the school when they reported coming into contact with an older male at the trailer.

One of the students believed the unknown older male had questionable contact with him while inside the trailer. This student who was inside the trailer believed the unknown male may have been trying to abduct him. The two students did leave the trailer and went back into the school without further incident.

The Sheriff’s office says they would like to speak with the older male involved in this matter.

The description given was an older male, white and black vertical striped shirt, blue jeans, gray hair, balding in back of head with a white beard. The vehicle he was driving was described as a red 4 door Chevrolet.

If anyone has information on this matter, or the identity of the older male, please contact the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office at 785-457-3353.
