HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) — Authorities say an argument over money led one man to stab another man in Hutchinson earlier this week.
Lt. M.J. Robertson told The Wichita Eagle in a statement that officers were called shortly before 9:30 p.m. Monday to investigate a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his chest.
Roberston says the man was taken to a hospital, where he underwent surgery. He is now in stable condition.
Another man, who also is 30, was arrested and booked into Reno County Jail on suspicion of aggravated battery. His bond has been set at $50,000.
