Sirens sound across Kansas for statewide drill

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Even though there were overcast skies impacting northeast Kansas, the Outdoor Warning Sirens sounded across Kansas Tuesday afternoon for the 2015 Statewide Tornado Drill.

The drill was broadcasted on NOAA Weather Radios throughout the state.

The objective of the drill was to take a few minutes and think about where you’d go and what you’d do in the event it was a real tornado warning.

Every school, business, work place, and family across the area was strongly encouraged to participate in the statewide tornado drill at their venues.
