OGDEN (KSNT) – The Riley County Police Department responded to an early morning shooting on Tuesday in Ogden.
Police found 27-year-old Casey Lindley of Ogden had suffered an apparent gunshot wound and was in need of emergency medical attention. He was transported and then life-flighted to a medical care facility in Topeka where he later died.
Detectives began an early search for a person of interest and after further investigation announced 26-year-old Tierre Wall of Fort Riley to be a suspect in the death of Lindley. The Riley County Police Department obtained an arrest warrant listing the offense of voluntary manslaughter early afternoon on Wednesday. Police officials continue to believe the shooting to be an isolated event, however, the suspect is to be considered armed and potentially dangerous.
Wall stands 5’3″ and weighs 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and could be driving a 2002 GMC truck with Kansas license plates.
