Topeka NAACP meet, discuss racial issues

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka NAACP met Saturday to talk about discrimination and equality.

Members of the organization met at the Brown v. Board of Education Memorial to discuss the struggles minorities are still facing.

NAACP president Ben Scott says incidents of young black men being killed by police are violent proof that the racism during the time of segregation still exists,

so they’re asking for help from politicians.
