Sen. Roberts’ ‘Frozen’ ringtone interrupts hearing

(CNN) – The U.S. Congress takes care of the serious business of running the country but sometimes a softer side pokes through.

Senator Pat Roberts’ ring tone, which interrupted a committee meeting Wednesday was that of the new classic “Let it go” from the movie “Frozen.”

The committee was discussing U.S. tariff policy, so the Disney tune was probably a welcome break.

No one from Senator Roberts’ office was available for comment afterward.

The senator did send a joking tweet reading “Somebody had to tell the Obama Administration to ‘let it go.'”
