Noticeably less humid today, storms tomorrow

We’re tracking noticeably cooler, less humid air across Northeast Kansas today. We’ve been tracking this slow-to-get-here cold front for the better part of the last week, and the payoff is finally here! Daytime temperatures will be stuck in the 70s and 80s today under mostly sunny skies! Talk about a refreshing late July day! Get outside and enjoy it, as Mother Nature cranks the thermostat back up in a couple days.

You’re really going to FEEL the difference today. Cooler northwest breezes will filter in some of that long overdue relief from the heat. Rain chances will be soon to follow, though – as we’re already tracking our next weather-maker. Showers and thunderstorms will be developing across Northeast Kansas by Wednesday. We will keep temperatures seasonably cool, though – highs in the lower 80s, lows in the middle 60s. Some showers and storms may spill over into Thursday – we’ll be tracking that for you!

Have a great day!
