Former Jayhawk, Cliff Alexander, signs with Portland Trailblazers

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Former Kansas basketball center, Cliff Alexander, announced via Twitter he has signed a contract to play with the Portland Trailblazers next season.

“God has still found ways to bless me through the struggle. I am officially apart of the NBA & Trailblazer family🏀” – @CAlexander on Twitter.

In the NBA Summer League, Alexander played for the Brooklyn Nets and averaged 8.5 points per game during the teams six games.

Alexander missed the final eight games, including the NCAA Tournament, while at Kansas due to NCAA precautionary measures. Alexander was undrafted in June’s NBA Draft.
