We’re tracking some warmer, more humid weather as we close out the month of July across Northeast Kansas. Isn’t it hard to believe that the holidays are a meager 3 months away? Where has this year gone? Anyways, high temperatures will soar into the middle 90s under the intense late July sunshine today. This same summer-like weather will continue straight through the weekend. And, it will feel much hotter than the actual air temperatures over the next few days. We’re also tracking the humidity to be on the rapid increase, too. In fact, heat index values will range as high as 110° to start the month of August. Summer is going nowhere – more pool days lie ahead.
Due to the intense daytime heating, a shower or storm could pop-up sometime over the weekend. The vast majority of the area will remain dry and sun-filled, but we’ll be tracking any rain chance – no matter how small – for you! Stay tuned. The best overall rain chance over the next week looks to be by Tuesday, as we track our next legitimate weather-maker into Northeast Kansas. As of now, rain chances could stick around through Thursday of next week – which is still a long time from now. Don’t fret, we’ll be tracking that storm system for you, as it gets closer.
Have a great day!
