Police are warning Manhattan residents after early-morning break-in

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – An early morning break-in at an apartment where the resident was home has police in Manhattan warning residents. It happened around 3:20 Monday morning in the 1400 block of Watson Place. Those at the home reported that an unknown male came into the apartment. Officers are currently investigating, and RCPD has said they will release additional details as it becomes available.

Meanwhile, the department is reminding residents to lock and secure all doors and windows on homes, apartments, and vehicles. They also advise that you keep a patio or porch light either turned on or utilize a motion sensor that will illuminate it if movement is detected around your home.
