Crews work to fix traffic signal in SW Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) — Work on a stoplight at a busy southwest Topeka intersection closed part of two streets Friday morning.

Late Friday morning, a crack was found on one of the signal arms at 21st and Wanamaker and it needed to be replaced.

Two lanes of traffic had to be shut down while city workers removed the pole.

Crews finished the repairs and had the intersection fully open and the signal back in operation by 2:30 p.m.
