TOPEKA (KSNT) – A 25 year old Topeka man has been booked on a variety of charges stemming from a mid-afternoon armed robbery Monday.
Terel Montez Lamb is charged with, among other things, aggravated burglary and robbery, drug possession and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Topeka police say they were initially called to the 1100 block of SW Taylor just before 3:30 p.m. Monday. The victim, described as a 43-year old woman, says Lamb entered her home and pointed a handgun at her demanding personal property from inside the home.
Police say about 10-minutes after they got the call, Lamb was found sitting in the suspect’s vehicle and was taken ito custody without incident. A handgun was found during a search of the car.
Lamb was also being held on an arrest warrant for violating his parole from a previous conviction.
