TOPEKA (KSNT) – Multiple AT&T customers were without service Wednesday morning.
According to AT&T outage map customers in Kansas City, Kan., Springfield, Overland Park, Wichita, Topeka, Columbia, Lawrence, Olathe, Joplin, and Kansas City, Mo. experienced issues.
AT&T’s Senior Public Relations Manager Chris Lester told KSNT News that some AT&T customers in the Topeka area experienced issues with their wireless voice service due to a hardware issue.
Just before noon Lester said service had been restored for customers in parts of Kansas and western Missouri. Wireless data and voice over LTE services were not affected.
“Technicians quickly repaired the hardware-related issue and all services are running normally. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
