OSAGE CITY (KSNT) – A round of storms made their way through Northeast Kansas early Friday morning causing major damage in parts of Osage County.
Trained weather spotters estimated 70 MPH winds with this storm as it made its way through around 5:00 a.m.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office tells KSNT News Osage City was the hardest hit area with power outages, power lines down and trees down in some areas.
A KSNT News viewer from Scranton called reporting downed trees and power outages as well.
Firefighters are urging caution for people traveling through the area.
