TOPEKA (KSNT) – Two people were injured after a semi truck rear ended a van late Sunday.
The crash happened on I-70, just a few miles east of the Topeka rest stop.
Both the semi and the van were headed west. Officials say the van was going about 55 miles per hour–20 miles under the 75 mile per hour speed limit–when the semi hit it from behind.
Two people in the van were hurt and taken to the hospital.
