TOPEKA (KSNT) — At 9:38 a.m. on Saturday, Topeka Police officers responded to a residence in the 1600 Block of N. Quincy on a domestic disturbance.
When they arrived, they found that the woman involved had left, but that the man remained inside the residence.
Officers attempted to contact the man and learned that there had been an attempt to locate him on a Parole Violation Warrant. The man refused to communicate with officers or come outside.
At 2:25 p.m., the man came out and handed himself over to police. He was taken into custody and transported to the Department of Corrections.
The man was identified as Christopher Hodgkiss, a 33-year-old white man from Topeka. He was charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery and Parole Violation.
