Olathe man arrested in Topeka for Manhattan crimes

TOPEKA/MANHATTAN (KSNT) – An Olathe man was arrested in Topeka for crimes committed in Riley County.

Thirty-three-year-old James Trahey was taken into custody around 5:10 Tuesday night. He’s accused of a list of offenses including burglary, identity theft, making false information, criminal use of a financial card, and theft. The proposed charges stem from a report by a 35-year-old female who told police several items had been stolen from her in NE Manhattan.

Tahey’s bond was set at $14,000. Officers continue to investigate the crime.
