We’re tracking another warm and windy day across Northeast Kansas. Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds, with a couple passing showers/storms possible. The vast majority of the area remains dry – with a little more cloud cover around compared to yesterday. South winds will still be rather breezy – gusting up to 30mph at times.
A slight rain chance will linger into Wednesday – this just a tease of what’s to come. A large weather-maker is churning over the Desert Southwest – priming itself, as it moves in our direction. We’ll notice the cloud cover slowly increase over the next couple days – with meager rain chances, before the system brings chances for heavy rain late Thursday and Friday. A few storms on Friday could be strong/severe – high winds, locally heavy rain and hail look to be the threats. We’ll continue to monitor and track this system as it makes it’s way into the Central Time Zone. Stay tuned.
Have a great day!
