Grant patrol surprises Topeka teachers

TOPEKA (KSNT) — The Topeka Public School Foundation’s Prize Patrol visited several schools Wednesday morning.

Meadows Elementary School was on one of their stops.

Four teachers received grant money to be used in their classrooms.

Educators in the district applied for foundation grant money. It totaled more than $25,000.

Twenty-four grants were approved for district educators.

The money can be used for projects that may not have other funding.
