MANHATTAN (KSNT) – A woman police say used a golf club as a weapon during a domestic dispute with another female was still behind bars this morning.
Police say the two women involved are victims as well as suspects. Officers were called to the scene of a physical fight between 50-year-old Kimberly Martin and 47-year-old Marlo Martin around 11:30 Sunday morning. The Manhattan women were arrested as a result.
Kimberly Martin allegedly pushed Marlo Martin who police say used a golf club as a weapon during the fight. Kimberly Martin was arrested for domestic battery and given a $1,000 bond. Marlo Martin was arrested and given a $5,000 bond on the charge of aggravated battery. The two women remained in the Riley County Jail Monday morning.
According to a previous police report from RCPD, a woman by the same name and approximate age of Marlo Martin was arrested at the end of August for domestic violence. It’s not clear if it is the same woman. That Marlo Martin, age 46, was arrested August 30th for aggravated battery and given a bond of $5,000.
