Conjoined twin boys sharing heart, lungs born in Georgia

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A Georgia woman has given birth to conjoined twins at an Augusta hospital

The Georgia Regents Medical Center said the twins were born Monday by planned cesarean section.

The two boys share a liver and a heart. The twins were taken to the neonatal intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital of Georgia where they are listed in critical condition.

The boys’ mother Brittany Crafton is in good condition and is recovering at the medical center.

Crafton has said she planned to name the boys Chance Aiden Crafton and Chandler Kaiden Crafton.
