TOPEKA (KSNT) – The holidays are fast approaching– which means some northeast Kansans might already be thinking about buying gifts.
Here’s one option to add some money to your Christmas budget: on Wednesday you can sell memorabilia at the Topeka Vintage Toy Buying Show.
Local residents can bring their vintage toys and collectibles to find out what they’re worth.
America’s toy scout Joel Magee will offer on-the-spot cash payments for popular toys from the 20th century and earlier.
“What we’re looking for is for everyone to clean out their closets and attics and bring out their old toys that have been sitting there for decades. Generally we’re looking for toys from the 1980s and older. And it doesn’t matter what it is. If it’s an old toy, we want you to bring it,” Magee said.
The show continues Wednesday from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Hampton Inn.
