TARC: Winter Wonderland sets a new financial record

TOPEKA (KSNT) — Its official the folks over at TARC, the developmental learning center for disabled children and adults set a financial record this year.

“We set a new record financially this year as to the dollars that we raised. Last year we raised $167,000 and this year we raised a little over $174,000,” said Sherry Lundry, Development Director at TARC.

Despite the weather, and several rainy days Lundry says more than 10,000 cars drive through the light show.

For the past 62 years the programs and services here at TARC have help improve the lives of many families and children.
