ESPN College Gameday makes pit stop in Lawrence

LAWRENCE (KSNT) – 8 hours before tip off of the highly anticipated game between Kansas and Kentucky, Allen Fieldhouse was filled with many fans as ESPN’S College Gameday had a live broadcast from Lawrence Saturday morning.

ESPN’s Rece Davis along with analyst’s Jay Williams, Seth Greenberg, and Jay Bilas previewed the match-up along with many other intriguing games around the country.

Students were also able to showcase their creativity with their game day signs.
There was also a marriage proposal that took place during the broadcast as well as a mock debate and an attempt at 18 thousand dollars by hitting a half court shot. He wasn’t able to hit it though.

College Gameday visited Lawrence last February as part of a split show with its last full show being in 2013.
