Former Kansas Gov. Sebelius endorses Hillary Clinton

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius announced Monday that she is endorsing Hillary Clinton for president.

“As a grandmother and a former public servant, who had the privilege of serving with Hillary in the President’s Cabinet, I can think of nothing more important than ensuring our next president is someone who will protect and build upon the progress made by President Obama over the past eight years.”

Sabelius stated that Clinton believes women’s issues are family issues, economic issues are crucial to our future competitiveness.

“She has demonstrated time and time again in this campaign that she is the one candidate with the plans and experience to deliver real results for Kansas and Americans as President.”

Sebelius served as governor for Kansas from 2003 to 2009. In the 2008 presidential primary, she endorsed then-Senator Barack Obama.
