Two killed in crash near Sabetha Wednesday

SABETHA (KSNT) – Two people were killed in a two-vehicle collision near Sabetha Wednesday.

Early reports by the Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 192nd and U.S. Highway 75 in Jackson County. Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse tells KSNT News that information is in fact incorrect and the crash occurred at 192nd Road/280th Street and U.S. Highway 75 in Brown County near Sabetha.

Reports say a pickup truck pulling a trailer was southbound on 75 when a westbound SUV ran a stop sign and pulled into the path of the pickup truck.

Both drivers were killed.

No names of the victims have been released at this time.
