Two Hutchinson students removed from school for conspiracy to commit capital murder

HUTCHINSON, Kansas – Several Hutchinson High School students reported concerns about a possible threat at the school Tuesday morning.  It happened around 8 a.m.

USD 308 says the report was relayed to the Hutchinson Police Department. Police say the investigation revealed sufficient information to remove several students from school. Right now, two Hutchinson High students, one 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, are in custody for conspiracy to commit capital murder.

Both the Hutchinson Police Department and Hutchinson High School administration believe the concern has been addressed.  They say there is no threat to students or staff.

Police say investigation is still ongoing and in the preliminary stages.
