TOPEKA (KSNT) — More than 500 Girl Scouts and family members from across the state gathered at the Kansas State Capital to honor the organization’s 104 years of service.
The organization celebrates being the largest leadership organization for girls.
The girls participated in a variety of activities celebrating skill-building and sisterhood, as well as getting a behind the scenes look at government.
Organizers say this event is a way to inspire girls to work toward making a difference in their community.
