Inmate who escaped from Winfield Correctional caught

WINFIELD, Kan. (KSNT) — On Saturday around 10:29 p.m., Bradley Wayne Struble was caught in Arkansas City, Kan.

Struble, 37, is an inmate who was reported missing from the Winfield Correctional Facility on Thursday.

Kansas Department of Corrections Special Enforcement Officeres received a tip that let them to believe Struble was at a family member’s home in Arkansas City. The tip was accurate and Struble was taken into custody without incident.

Struble was taken to Cowley County Jail and he will be held here. In addition to the charges he will get for escaping, he could have additional charges from the Winfield and Arkansas City areas. He is currently serving a sentence for violating parole. His most recent conviction was in 2004 for battering a correctional officer.
