TOPEKA (KSNT) — A house fire in Topeka Monday night that created more than an $36,000 in damages may have been an arson.
The Topeka Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire just after 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of SW Woodward Avenue.
When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed in flames. Two neighboring homes were damaged.
No one was injured in the fire. Early investigation shows the estimated damage for the original home set on fire is $11,460. Damage for the two neighboring homes was estimated at $5,000 and $20,000.
