2 injured in early morning SE Topeka crash

TOPEKA (KSNT) — On Saturday at 2:42 a.m. officers went to the 100 block of SE 46th Court after people called saying that they heard a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed and then a loud crash.

Officers went to the area, but did not find a crash.

At 3:36 a.m., officers went to the area a second time after getting calls that a man was banging on doors and had blood on his face. This time, officers found a man with significant injuries. He was taken to a local hospital.

After speaking with the man, officers were able to find out where the crash happened. They found the vehicle in thick brush and a passenger inside the vehicle.

Both people were taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. No names are being released to the public at this time.
