WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A man who was kicked out of a Wichita bar wound up getting robbed early Sunday morning.
Wichita Police say the incident occurred about 3 a.m. after a 28-year-old man had been asked to leave the Snug Harbor Bar in the 800 block of S. Christine for being too intoxicated. The bar is located east of Edgemoor St. and north of Lincoln St.
Sgt. Steve Yarberry said as the man was walking home an unknown person struck him in the face. The victim said he and his assailant then began to fight, and during the fight the suspect stole the victim’s wallet.
Yarberry said the value of the loss was $10.
After the robbery, Yarberry said the victim told officers at the scene the suspect fled on foot.
The only description the victim was able to give officers was that the person who assaulted him had “curly hair.”
The victim said he was not injured in the robbery.
