TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Topeka RoadRunners return to Landon Arena at the Kansas Expocentre on Friday and Saturday night for games three and four of the opening round of the NAHL Playoffs.
The ‘Runners best-of-five series with the Lone Star Brahmas is tied 1-1.
These next games on Friday and Saturday night will be the first home playoff games for the RoadRunners this season, and the team is excited to play on its home ice.
“You know we got a great group here,” said RoadRunners head coach Josh Kamrass. “These guys come to work every day. They have a lot of fun. We focus on what we do as teams and as individuals together as a group.”
“Every shift everyone is given its all,” said RoadRunners right wing Dominic Lutz. “Just trying to get every advantage over the other team. The tempo is a lot faster, a lot more competitive, a lot more physical, just overall a lot faster game (in the playoffs).”
The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday night. If necessary, the game five of the series will be at Lone Star on Monday night.
