TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — If you’re looking for a piece of Kansas history, you don’t have to travel far.
Items left over from the renovation project at the Kansas statehouse will be sold to the highest bidder. Wood, windows, doors, brass hinges and more will be auctioned off online starting Monday morning.
The public can get a sneak peak of what’s up for grabs on Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at 1221 S. Kansas Avenue in Topeka.
Pictures of the items can be viewed and bids can be made at this website.
The auction lasts one week.
