TOPEKA (KSNT) – An update to a story KSNT News has been following throughout Thursday morning.
All residents in the Montara subdivision, south of Topeka have their power back on.
A car hit a power line west of Forbes Field Airport late Thursday night, knocking the pole down and the power out.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle with the help of witnesses. The vehicle was seized for investigative purposes.
The crash left more than a 1000 people without power for several hours.
The driver has been identified and the case is still under investigation.
