The stage is set in Landon Arena for the Topeka area high school commencement ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday. Topeka West, Highland Park and Topeka High graduations will take place Saturday, while Shawnee Heights, Seaman and Washburn Rural will take place Sunday. All six ceremonies will be streamed live, for free, at www.ksexpo.com/grad.
The Kansas Quarter Horse Youth Association Show is in Domer Arena through Sunday evening. The livestock arena will be filled to capacity as hundreds of contestants from across the state compete over the show’s four-day run.
With both of these major events happening this weekend, parking at the Expocentre will be a hot commodity. Visitors are asked to please follow these parking guidelines:
Next Saturday, May 21st , Victory Fighting Championship 50 will be in Landon Arena. Victory CEO Ryan Stoddard recently announced the full card for the historic 50th show. Eight matchups have been added, which brings the show’s total to 10, including the already announced double title fights.
