MAYETTA, Kan. (KSNT) — A Mayetta man who had a warrant out for his arrest ended up receiving additional drug-related charges on Friday night.
Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to 49-year-old Randal W. Clark’s house in the 200 block of Clark Street in Mayetta to serve a no bond Jackson County District Court arrest warrant. The warrant was for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
While arresting Clark, deputies saw “drug contraband” near him and applied for a search warrant. The deputies ultimately collected drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.
Clark was subsequently booked into the Jackson County Jail on the warrant, as well as new charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
