2 men shot at Carriage House Apartment complex

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Topeka police are investigating two men shot in the 1600 block of SW 37th Terrace. Officers were called to the Carriage House Apartment around 5:40 p.m.

Topeka police tell KSNT News, gunshots were reported on the third floor of the apartment building.  The two men are African American are both in their early 20’s and may have be struck by the same bullet. One victim was shot in the knee, and the second victim was also stuck in the lower leg.

They were both transported to Stormont Vail with non-life threatening injuries. Also, one of the victims lives at the apartment complex.

Police are looking for a suspect, a light-skinned black man, wearing khaki pants and a white shirt.
