Topeka police arrest man planning retaliation shooting

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The Topeka Police Department served a search warrant and arrested a Topeka man through their new violent crime initiative late Tuesday night.

Eighteen-year-old Tyron Michael was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery and aiding a felon.

Police used a search warrant in the 3500 block of SW Cambridge Aveneu, that’s just east of SW Gage Boulevard and SW 37th Street. Police say the conspiracy was a plan for a retaliation shooting.
