TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A Topeka woman won’t spend time behind bars for her part in a little girl’s abduction and rape.

Twenty-four-year-old Michelle Lee Harris was given a little more than three years in prison. However, that was reduced to three years of intensive supervised probation

In April she pleaded guilty to helping a man convicted of abducting an 8-year-old girl from her Topeka home. He then drugged and repeatedly raped the child.

Harris admitted to reduced charges of attempted kidnapping and aiding a felon.

A third charge was dismissed as part of her plea.
